"Nice spacious unit with everything you need. The TV was small and just free to air stations but I believe they are in the middle of upgrading TVs to all room. The motel apparently has spectacular views to Mt Taranaki but unfortunately there was too much fog and cloud during my visit to see it. Would definitely stay again if visiting Hawera"

"The staff member who assisted with our check-in was not very helpful and a bit grumpy.
Even though we paid for breakfast for a reservation for 2, was told only one of us can which makes no sense.
As a VIP member, we were expecting a lot more from the hotel.
No upgrade was offered. A very cold greeting."
