On the way to check out The falls, this was another spot off. Another maybe 10min walk from the where you park. It had started to rain and got overcast, so it was quite dark when I was there... But I had the place entirely to myself and even w/o much light it was very beautiful.
About a half hour drive outside of Waitomo, is this beautiful waterfall. It's about a 10min walk from where you park, so pretty easy. If you love waterfalls like I do, it was a no brainer to check it out. I didn't stay long though as it started to rain.
