Our recent stay at this property was absolutely wonderful! The house was impeccably clean and very comfortable. The owner, Vicky, was an amazing host—super nice and incredibly friendly. Home away from Home

Beautiful gem in Tawonga with amazing views. The property had everything and more. From well stocked pantry to crockery, cutlery and everything you would want. The amount of different teas and coffees and wonderful collection of CD, DVD, Books and games.It made our stay memorable. Thank you Vicky for everything!!

Home away from home.

Very lovely home, beautiful area. Generous and conscientious hosts. No hot tub, as was stated on the VRBO site, owner did acknowledge this when asked in advance about it, but it should be corrected on the site. Some pictures of the site are quite old.

Just Beautiful

We loved our stay. Montanya is so well appointed with some beautiful treats generously provided. Thank you! The area is beautiful and the pool was great for an early summer swim. Wish we could stay even longer. We’ll definitely be booking again with wonderful host Vicky. So much more to explore in the area.

Such a great property, it was absolutely perfect for our little group. Had everything we needed and then some. Great location if you’re going to be day tripping up to Falls Creek and has an awesome view as a bonus. Home away from home

Staying at Montanya is the perfect family getaway. The kitchen has everything you need, the house is spacious for our family of 5 and the bedrooms are cosy and warm. Equipped with all the creature comforts of home, you won’t be disappointed. We have stayed multiple times for our annual ski trip and we will definitely be back!

Fantastic stay at Montanya

We had such an enjoyable stay at this property. It suited our needs perfectly, being large enough for the family and nicely located not too far from Falls creek, so we could drive up each day. It was beautifully presented, particularly the kitchen/appliances and the bathrooms, everything was of high quality and worked well. The communication from Vicky the host was perfect, very helpful and she responded immediately whenever we had any questions. Can definitely recommend, particularly for families where older kids would love their own self-contained space in the pool house, separate from the main house. If we stay in this area again, we will definitely choose Montanya again.

Photos don't do justice to this property, you have to just experience it all..... An amazing experience right from the very start. Great communication. Received a call from Vicky the day I booked the property and she covered everything from what to expect at the property to tips on sightseeing and eateries. The house for sensational, very relaxing and fully equipped. One of the best properties we stayed at. Great views, very well equipped kitchen, loved the pool house, ideal for big families like ours especially when you travel with teens 😀. We also appreciated the late checkout, gave us a chance to sleep in and enjoy my coffee with the most stunning views. Vicky and Jeff thanks once again for everything. My husband and I really needed a relaxing break with our 4 kids and you sure exceeded all our expectations. Cheers, The Francis Family.

Vicky was amazing from my first enquiry all the way to after checkout! Extremely helpful, accomodating & fantastic communicator. Everything that was promised with MÖNTÄNYÄ was delivered plus MÖRË!! Kitchen was ridiculously good, I wish my own kitchen was as well equipped and was as beautiful as this kitchen. Everything you could possibly need & want was provided. Heaps of board games, books, amazing beds, bathroom is phenomenal, pool area & decking with Weber bbq, house split over two seperate levels and dwellings, blue tooth speakers inside and outside on the deck, Netflix, cds, DVDs, very high quality body washes, shampoo, conditioners, skin lotions, house smelt amazing with essential oil diffusers, crazy good views of the mountains and valley, close to shops, quiet neighbourhood, the amazing things about this property just go on and on!!!! MÄSSÏVË shoutout to our Host Vicky, she does not stuff around with anything at all and it’s very clear she is passionate about providing the best she possibly can!!!! Vicky is an absolute Gem & this is by far the best property myself and family has had the pleasure of staying at via the STAYZ platform. THANKYOU - we will be back sometime to play in the snow.

Not good - Sour after taste

Owner is very involved and asked me to pick the keys from her own place the night before rather than the rental; and charged me for additional cleaning fee; even after we cleaned the place. Frankly, the owner is extremely particular about cleaning given that she indicates there were hand marks on cupboards (which is mainly from use), and dirt and dust on the carpet (vacuummed as much as we can); and we left the dishes to wash and dry in the dishwasher. She expects the dishes to be put back in the cupboards in the exact specific (I mean exactly specific to the cm) locations as it was before. I am not sure what the actual cleaning fee is for then. I mentioned there would be 8 ppl and happily paid additional cost for that as well. She assumes that kids stayed with us when there were no kids and assumes the number of ppl leading me to think of a potential for prejudice here. Small hands do not mean kids; there are adults with small hands as well. She asks the neighbour to check on the number of cars that are parked and estimates the number of ppl who stayed; without thinking we might have a guest over for early dinner. Three cars or four cars do not relate to 12 people or more; very much accusing. Overall, this gave me a sour after taste.

The perfect home away from home.

From the moment we arrived, our whole group were making comments about how comfortable and homely this property felt. The house was absolutely stocked with everything you could ever need on a fun holiday, from cooking equipment, to games, to every great movie made, to ample linen, to beautiful location. And to top it all off, Vicky was excellent with communication. She was friendly and willing to help wherever she could. I will absolutely be staying here again. You won’t be disappointed.

Our stay with Montanya

Beautiful surroundings accompanied with wonderful accommodation. House was easy to access, little bit tricky with a larger vehicle pulling into the driveway, but very manageable. The house was just perfect for the four of us, a home away from home. Clean amenities, plenty of board games, amazing swimming pool, wonderful set up on the upper deck. The kitchen was set up so well we hardly needed to bring anything. Overall a perfect family getaway destination with plenty to do in the area for those who don’t want to blow their budget. Would highly recommend.

Montanya is great for a weekend on the slopes. Took the bus to Falls was really convenient. House is really well equipped, clean and comfortable. We had a lovely time.

A great, cozy mountain getaway

Probably the most comfortable, well stocked holiday house we have stayed in. Perfect for us and two young kids for our yearly ski trip. And the views are amazing. Perfect house to relax and cook in after a day at the slopes. The host is wonderful. We are looking to book again next year. Highly recommend
