Lakeside Inn

"It's like stepping back in time! The main building and outer buildings are absolutely charming with so much attention to every little old fashioned detail. The staff from the front desk, the wait staff and even the maintenance personnel were truly warm, caring people, a true pleasure to be around. The property is beyond well maintained, I'm not sure how they do it! The pool area overlooks the lake and also has an adorable poolside bar. Inside the restaurant / bar was a gentleman playing the piano softly which just added to the whole ambiance of our experience. You can pull your boat up to the exceptionally well maintained docks or even fish right off of them! The ONLY negative that we found is that the rooms are a little small and the walls are paper thin but they do have signs on every entrance/ exit door asking to please keep noise down so I'm sure that they are aware of this however, the building that we stayed in is from the early 1900's so both of those things are to be expected. We will absolutely 100% be back, it was everything that we wanted from our weekend trip! Thank you Lakeside Inn!!!!!"
