"We loved our stay at Maynard’s Retreat! It was extremely clean, spacious, beautifully decorated and included everything we needed for our stay. "The property is very clean; the rooms and bathrooms are very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Pool and hot tub are very nice and clean. I would highly recommend staying here. It is a short drive from Hocking Hills and lots of stores and restaurants very close. Also, breakfast was pretty awesome as well. 5 stars all the way around"

"The bed was extremely comfortable and there were two types of pillows to choose from. The only cleaning issue I noticed was the shower head needed a good scrubbing. The water pressure was great. The bathroom is small - you had to squeeze in to close the door. The sink was annoying because the faucet is not long enough to wash hands without hitting the back wall. Breakfast had a pretty good selection, but room is tight. The clerk who checked us in was very matter-of-fact and not too friendly. The property looked great and the inside looked much newer than what it is. We would definitely stay again."

"My overall impression was good. My family of 16 people had a great time. The property needed some maintenance. There was water damage and peeling paint on the exterior and on all the decks. Some water damage in the living room. The pool area was fun but needed repairs. The tub in the main bedroom faucet did not work. These issues didnt interfere with our enjoyment of the property. I felt that at this price point things should be in better shape"
