"Gee Tatt, Muin and Osman were excellent hosts. They were welcoming, friendly and attentive.
We really enjoyed interacting with the orang asli that lived in the area. Muin demonstrated to us how they used blowpipes and traps to hunt. It was a very enlightening and educational experience.
Coming from a very hectic and stressful city environment, the soothing sounds of the waterfall and nature really helped to refresh us.

"Nice room. Only problem is that the lobby lights stay on and shine bright around the door so a little hard to sleep"

Top Tapah Hotel Reviews

Zenith Hotel Cameron
4/10 Poor
"The hotel was in a great location for the town, many restaurants and close to the main road, and there was free parking. However, that was as good as it gets. We arrived late in the evening and were shown to a room that had hairs all over the bathroom, dirt on the floor, sticky surfaces and bugs in the windows. We asked to be moved, which the staff were very gracious and helpful about, but this took an hour to sort out and even the new room had hairs in the bath tub, a stained selection of chairs, towels/sheets with holes in that smelled weird, and mould all over the shower blind. We would have complained again but it was already very late and we were tired. The hotel was very odd and empty, we did not bother with the breakfast we did not want to spend a moment longer than necessary there."

Oakwood Cameron Highlands
8/10 Good
"This is a brand new property with an official opening on the 1st May 26 operated by the Ascot Group. General staff are most helpful and ready to attend to your queries however limited.
Our first assigned room on the 13th Floor overlooking the golf course was perfect except for the smell coming from the bathroom. A request for a change of room was done expeditiously and the rest of the stay was pleasant. "

Cameron Highlands Resort
8/10 Good
"Clean room, the bed was a little strange with plastic feeling underneath, loud traffic noise impacted my sleep but they did provide earplugs, all front security staff were really nice and helpful, there’s a staff at the bar had some attitude when I asked some water"

Zenith Suites Cameron
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent location walking distance to all amenities, very friendly service, ample free parking, highly recommend"

Copthorne Hotel Cameron Highlands
4/10 Poor
"The checkin process is terrible.. The checkin time given was 2:30 PM. We reached the hotel by 3:30 PM.. We need to get a token to go to the reception desk.. There was a waiting time of about 50 mins just to reach the reception desk for checkin.
After so much wait, when reached checkin desk - they simply told - Room is not ready.. Howcome, when the checkin time in 2:30 PM, even at 4:30 PM the room is not ready. (We even paid 100% payment in advance)
The wait area is also jam-packed. When coming with the kids & infant - it super uncomfortable after a long travel.
Adding to that - it the feedback that Room is not ready, and we were asked to wait for another 30 mins.
Finally got the room key by around 5:30 PM. When we went to the room - no towels, toiletries were kept inside.
There is no direct calling facility to the room-service. We need to send a Whatsapp message, and they will revert..
Overall, for the size of the hotel & the fare they charge - the prompt service needs a lot of improvement.
Also, please improve the Breakfast dining area. No space to sit on Sunday morning due to crowd. Please make space for more people to eat peacefully, rather searching for tables. "

Rain Forest Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Fantastic food and amazing helpful manager and staff"

Heritage Hotel Cameron Highlands
8/10 Good
"The rooms were average, but several maintenance issues were noticeable. There were broken tiles and a damaged health faucet in the bathroom. The room also lacked convenient features such as a USB charging port or an international power socket. Additionally, the water fountain and the surrounding area in the backyard were poorly maintained. Overall, it did not feel like good value for money.

Hotel De'La Ferns, Cameron Highlands
8/10 Good
"Nice hotel, very strategically located.
The restaurant has variety food to cater for all.
Word of caution for the Biryani served at adjacent joint. The egg they give you is really bad."

SpringHill Resort
6/10 Okay
"The staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially the young man at reception during check-in and the breakfast restaurant manager.
However, the overall experience was average. The room for two was quite small and rather dark, although it was clean and nicely maintained. The bathroom is in the typical Malaysian style, so after showering the whole floor becomes wet. A floor squeegee would really help. The towels had visible stains, which was disappointing.
In the restaurant, many of the chair covers were stained. Breakfast options were limited for a European guest – mostly toast and beans. I tried some of the local dishes, but they felt too heavy for breakfast. On a positive note, the samosas and spring rolls were very good.
Overall, it was an okay stay, but there is room for improvement.
