I came in at one in the morning because the bus dropped me off, I had to walk 20 minutes to get to the hotel from the station, and when I got there, nobody was at the helpdesk. "Some 5 minutes drive from the historical park, this place is in a scenic location in the middle of nowhere. The wooden bungalows are basic but clean and pretty well equipped, including air conditioning, (Thai only) TV, and decent internet connectivity. The owners speak very little english, but they are lovely! Drinking water and a nice breakfast are included for free, even if that wasn't mentioned when I booked, so it came as a pleasant surprise.
