My sister and I both became widows and this was her first vacation in 30 years. We were on the canal side and she was awed with the dolphins the birds and the solitude. We have made a pack to come back every year. This is one of the best places I ever was in Florida

Little Harbor

The room was ok and the view of the lake was great. However, you could hear furniture movement and things dropping on the floor as if it were in the room. Also, there was an opening in the closet than allowed very large roaches to come in. Please get that handled!

Room was clean but dated. Electric outlets were difficult to access and did not all work. Other than that, pleasant experience.

Had trouble with the TV HDMI it turned out the HDMI cable was unplugged. Door lock was hard to lock and unsecured. No additional rolls of toilet paper. Unit needs updating!

A little disappointed

Needs some updating, but the price was right and it’s comfortable. First, it’s advertised as two king beds, but they are full size. Hair dryer didn’t work. Ironing board wouldn’t stay up. Many electrical outlets not working. Kinda musty. And there was one monster size palmetto bug, but, hey, it’s Florida and to be expected.

I stayed here several years ago and loved it. This time, not so much. There is no longer a front desk. All bookings/issues are dealt with online. The first room smelled like a swamp and the air conditioner didn't work and it was 90 degrees outside/inside. There was a huge dead cockroach in the room. The replacement room hadn't been cleaned. The beds were rumpled and dirty towels were on the floor. I was charged $129.00 "use of facilities" fee only to find out the pool was a crumbling empty hole and the tennis court is now a parking lot. The grounds are beautiful, but I will be looking elsewhere for my next vacation.
