The room was rather large but bathroom was a squash. An XXL person would not fit in it. Room was clean and the view fantastic. As mentioned paying in excess of Y35,000 you would expect a full breakfast option- no Japanese food but toast and jam - that's it !

A nice set-up for a ski-in/ski-out resort. My kids also had great lessons with an English instructor. Getting to Appi Kogen was also quite easy with the buses from Morioka Station. Five star staff, location, and facilities. One lesson learned: there is a kitchen in the cabins and grills in the pavilion, but the few restaurants and stores around the lake are expensive and/or close early. Bring food!
