I live hear but i love how quiet they are






When in Ford City, you can plan a visit to Taft City Park and West Kern Oil Museum, some noteworthy sights in the nearby area.

Check in was great fast efficient. The room was nice although need some cosmetic attention.

The house is nice. Plenty of room inside. Don’t plan on more than 1 full size vehicle, or multiple cars, as the driveway is small & no garage access. Street parking was very limited. The kitchen, although it says stocked, lacked many things, making it a difficult to cook for 4 people. I couldn’t ...

small town
Roots Eatery makes the BEST tri-tip sandwich.
Good jumping off point for Carrizo Plain National Monument but otherwise an ugly oil town with not much going for it.
It is a quiet little town. Everyone I met was very friendly. After the long drive to Taft, I went for a 30 minute walk close to sunset and felt safe walking streets.
Nice little town and very quiet. Off the beaten path, which is the way I like it.
