"The hotel was the perfect choice. Good size room, everything was nice and clean. Location was perfect right on the main street with the restaurants and shops, couldn't have been better. Also right by where the airport bus stops. Breakfast was great with a good selection, very pleased I stayed here"

"Excellent experience at the Svalbard Lodge. Room was clean, although a little outdated. Loved having a washer. The staff was great. We got tired of taking our shoes off every time we went from one building to the other, but that’s the way things are done in Longyearbyen. Dinner at the Polfareren was fabulous! It was a birthday trip and they made it special. "
