This place is amazing. The staff was so friendly, The location can't be beat. We did the bioluminescence tour that was unbelievable. All around a very cool experience.

It was our first "glamping" experience and it was great! There were enough amenities to make life not overly arduous, but not so much it took away the camping experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely check out the locations in other national parks.

What a fun way to camp comfortably! We rented one for our teens and one for us and our dog. It was close enough to the park and had all the amenities. Really loved the wood burning stove. Would have loved option to have own fire pit but understand the limitations.

Really fun experience at Under Canvas! The property was beautiful and the tents were comfortable. The staff were all young people and they were so happy and willing to help. The food was absolutely amazing! What else can I say. The only negative was that the property was much farther from Acadia then it appeared to be.

A lovely place. I wish we had spent more time on property. Staff was pleasant and available. We had a significant issue with the wood stove (smoking) but it was no one’s fault and the staff did try to help. They comped our dinner because of the issue which was nice but not necessary. It was quite cold at night and waking up each morning. FYI, for people with medium or long hair, it would be difficult to wash your hair due to low pressure.

The setting is beautiful but our lodge was very close to other lodges so we had limited privacy and could hear other guests talking or coughing or walking by. We were a bit disappointed in the quality of the restaurant too. It’s like a cafeteria with some upscale options. Our bed was very comfortable and we really appreciated the wood stove.

We loved staying at under canvas for glamping! The bon fires were great and we had so much fun making smores and looking at the ocean and night sky. The tent felf a bit cold at night but each tent has a fire stove for some heat. The dinner was great at the restaurant but breakfast was just ok

Super friendly team. Very welcoming and enthusiastic. Good was a bit basic & overpriced for what it is but it’s ok. Great setting but there is noise from the nearby road as other reviews have stated. It gets very cold at night so be prepared & you need to keep your log burner going which can be fumey…. We left a bag behind by mistake and the staff were so helpful and kind in assisting us to find it and keep for us to collect.

Just stayed in Under the Canvas, Surry Me The stay was wonderful! More importantly the staff was incredibly welcoming, helpful and attentive. You’ve got to try the Rosemary & Brown Sugar infused coffee! Great place for everyone. Can’t wait to do it again

it was an experience, which is what we were wanting. beautiful setting + nice location if you don’t want to stay on mount desert island (where acadia is located). however, the fire stove in the tent is insufficient for heat this time of year (early october). i was freezing. the stoves do not work in a proper / healthy manner. when lit, the fire stoves smokes our tent. if you close the stove door, they don’t maintain the heat + still smoke comes out of the stove at the top even when closed. i had soot in my nose + left with burning throat + nose after 2 nights. this is not safe or healthy. staff was friendly, food was good. but this was way overpriced for freezing accommodations + a health safety issue.

This was our first time at a At Canvas location. We really enjoyed the peacefulness and beautiful outdoors. There was a live band, smores, restaurant on site, and perfect location to feel like you are away. We went as a couple, but we were probably the only ones without kids there. The kids were playing and having a great time which was so sweet, but this seemed more of a family friendly vibe over a romantic couples retreat. We still had an amazing time and would try and try another At Canvas location in the future.

Pro tip: use the shower to warm up your tent on cold nights, alongside the fire stove. We had an awesome stay. The staff were so accommodating. It is glamping, so it is meant to be minimal; but they do have everything you may need. We stayed in a far away tent, which is not fun for the distance, but oh-so- quiet in the morning as others are waking and heading to lobby tent. Big shout out to Sydney and Maggie for being so welcoming and helpful to our family. This was our first glamping experience. Our girls loved it. We will be back—- with hopefully much warmer weather!

This place was absolutely amazing! It's such a cool concept and the whole vibe was so fun. The views are stunning, the tents are awesome and cozy, the staff were so friendly and accommodating, and the camaraderie of the main tent was just wonderful. We will definitely come back and visit other Under Canvas locations as well.
