"Didn’t have breakfast. Minimal interaction with staff but when I did they were very helpful. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby but also a few beggers and rough sleepers, but that, sadly is Northampton for you."

"We recently stayed at this hotel and needed a double room and a twin room. Both rooms were lovely and warm on a cold say which was very welcome. We were very happy with the stay and decided to have breakfast. It is served until 11am but when we arrived at 10am, there were very little bread/baked options and all the fruit had gone and had not been replenished. Parking is available but is at the rear of the hotel which we didn't realise until we'd parked on the road but no problem just moved our car around the back."

"The breakfast was great on the whole, although I would’ve liked a wider array of cheeses on offer and cold cuts of meat. It was really pet friendly and I brought my cavapoo so thank you. The staff were so kind and helpful, especially the sales manager and the front reception staff. They were very keen to help. I was really impressed with the location and the grounds which was ideal for doggies and the vintage heritage railway station and classic trains just round the corner at was a wonderful surprising bonus. "

"Easy to find and fantastic big car park at the back of the hotel which was included in the price of our stay. Lovely warm room, comfortable bed and great shower. There was a good breakfast selection but staff didn’t interact with customers and didn’t clear our table once during our 2 day stay. I hate dirty pots around me!! Also no conversation with restaurant staff about alternatives for breakfast as only had fried eggs on offer at self selection. I asked for poached eggs and it took them over 20 mins to bring them to me. I asked twice how long they would be and was told there is a bit of a delay with my order as quite a few people had ordered them. Not sure why as it only takes a couple of mins to cook these!! Also hot food options were empty and had to keep asking for things which was a bit annoying. Overall our stay was okay and I would stay again. "
