"Amazing from the outset. Stayed in 4 premium hotels in Bali over our trip and this was easily the best. The staff are unbelievable, attention to detail is over and above expectations. If you can stretch to the villa with private pool, it is well worth it. Fantatastic restaurant as well. Dinner was top class and breakfast was outstanding."

"Totally enjoyed our stay at the Udaya . The resort is clean, peaceful and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything we had at the restaurant was delicious and especially the morning breakfast there was always a fresh selection of fruits and pastries.W e also took part in the yoga classes held in a beautiful setting, and the nature walk held in the morning. "This is a very weird place. The design is odd in general. It’s a bit run down. Huge parts of it seem to be in process of demolition. On one hand, it’s a ghost town. It does not seem like very many of the rooms or suites are inhabited. Yet the place is also teeming with Russians- and the stereotypes are true, Russians are, in general, cold and often come across as rude. This hotel catches this vibe. The price we paid was amazingly cheap. But did not include access to the gym. Access to the gym and recover for a couple is significant. I think it cost almost as much as our room did for the 3 days we were there. Would I stay here again? No, but it wasn’t an automatic no. I had to think about it. The rate was suuuper cheap. But nah. I’d rather pay a little more elsewhere and escape the weird architecture/ design and cold vibes. "
