"We stayed at the hotel seven nights. We chose it because it was historic and in a very convenient Foggy Bottom location.. the first room we were in was definitely in need of many upgrades. The curtains were ripped on one side the floor squeaked, the bed squeaked the door doors squeaked…. One night we came back late, and there was a noise coming from most likely the ceiling fan in the room below us. There was no way we could sleep with that noise all night. The hotel staff immediately came up, heard the noise and moved us into a suite for our last two nights. THAT room was awesome! And the entire staff at the Lombardi is top-notch. Every person we encounter to work there was phenomenal! It was priced very fairly and I guess your stay would depend on the room you get I think if they can freshen some of the rooms, it will be a huge plus!"
