"The staff here were absolutely incredible and truly went above and beyond to help us. Upon arrival, our Uber driver dropped us at the bottom of the hill because he didn’t have snow tires and refused to drive any further, leaving us with nearly a 10-minute walk in heavy snowfall. My partner was unwell, and we were carrying two large suitcases along with a very heavy snowboard bag, making the situation especially difficult.
A young man stopped to help us carry our bags, and we later discovered he worked at the hotel and was on his way to start his shift at the penthouse. This act of kindness set the tone for the rest of our stay.
We arrived about 1.5 hours early for check-in, and the hotel staff kindly accommodated us without hesitation, which we greatly appreciated given my partner’s condition. They arranged for a driver to take us and our luggage to the East Wing and even carried our bags up for us.
Every staff member we encountered was warm, pleasant, and genuinely helpful — something that feels increasingly rare these days. They truly made us feel cared for throughout our stay.
The room in the East Wing was spacious and comfortable, with a short indoor walk to the main building and spa. The only area for improvement would be the room service food, which wasn’t the best. That said, the hotel has several excellent on-site restaurants that looked amazing; unfortunately, my partner was too ill for us to enjoy them.
