"There was a lot of space, but it wasn’t well-maintained. There was a persistent bad smell that we couldn’t identify. It was musty but also smelled like garbage. It reached every room in the house, but was strongest in the garage/ basement and front entrance. There were also so many big flies on the first floor, at least a dozen of them around the windows. "This place was a perfect location for a disc golf tournament. The rooms are basic that suited our needs. Beds were very comfortable. Needed a more thorough deep cleaning however, and definitely in need of upgraded pots and pans and shower curtain. Communication wasn’t the best. Had a minor issue that never got resolved. Please note: there are many stairs…to approach the front entry way and then once inside for the multiple levels."

"The outside of the property could have done with some weeding/tidying up but the inside was very clean. The only issue we had was that the beds creaked anytime you rolled over, but the view of the lake from the rooms was amazing. The washer & dryer was great to have when we went for an impromptu swim in our clothes. We only stayed one night but we really enjoyed the place."

"This is beautiful cabin where we could cook, walk and play games in a beautiful private woods. The extra features were wonderful - nice area to sit, beautiful outdoor shower, hammock. Will definitely come again."

Last year the cottage itself was pretty bad -- floor collapsing, broken lights, terrible pull out beds -- so this time we splurged for the fancy suite with the hot tub. The hot tub was fun, but the beds were the same horrible pull out couch type, and we were charged $20 for a tiny pack of firewood which is overpriced. Also not a fan of having to pay to have sheets on the bed??? For the price I...
