My friend and I enjoyed a wonderful week in Stresa and at this villa (despite some unseasonably nasty weather). Our host was very helpful. She was there to greet us when we arrived. She showed us how things worked. She went over boat time tables and things to see in the area. It was a nice roomy apartment ; we enjoyed our time in Stresa. A nice place to unwind and get away from the crowds

This is an excellent base for exploring Lake Maggiore. Easy to take the ferries to islands and towns along the lake. Less than an hour to return a car to Milan airport. Take the train to Locarno Switzerland and return by boat if you have a full day.
Nice Lungo Lago with gorgeous views of the Lake, Isola Bella and the mountains.
A great place for a relaxed vacation of 4-6 days
