"We enjoyed an overnight stay. The staff were friendly, the room was spacious and clean, and there was a comfortable bed. We ate in the bar as the restaurant was closed on Sunday evening, but there was a full menu and the food was enjoyable. There was a standard, perfectly nice breakfast offering. The leisure facilities were stand-out. There was a very warm pool (probably better suited to leisure rather than fitness swimming, particularly if busy) with a really nice steam room and sauna. We'd definitely stay again. As long as you're expecting a slightly "chain business hotel" ambience as opposed to a "country house hotel" vibe, you won't be disappointed."

"Beautiful cottage in an amazing setting - ideal for people who don’t want to use their cars once there! Communication with Skykes Cottages was very process heavy tho - we received so many useless emails before the booking, then during the trip there was so many different people to talk to for every problem. They took time to help. They don’t reply to WhatsApp for Hours tho they say to contact you there. Some improvements needed there to make it seamless please 🙏"

"A very relaxed and pleasant stay over the Xmas period, just what was needed. Made to feel very welcome and very accommodating to our needs.A great little retreat, not too remote, but just enough to feel you are out of the way. Facilities are suited for any occasion or time of the year. a hidden gem and it's only 40 minutes from our home!We loved our stay, we will definitely be back for short getaway breaks."
