Elevators were both broken. Had to climb 4 flights to get to our room. This hotel should have closed until the elevators were repaired.

Glad we only stayed one night. We wanted to enjoy the hot tub but it was occupied by at least 7 small kids screaming yelling and splashing water. Plus the water was warm to say the least. The whole place was perfect. The only thing missing was the fireplace working. It was nice and quiet and enjoyed our stay there very much.

Rather rural and isolated, but that contributed to the charm, unless you want urban. Didn’t see much of Stillwater village, but nice drive along lake and then into Saratoga Springs for races and restaurants. Scenic lunch/dinner overlooking lake.
