"We are normally very particular with the hotels we stay at but this area didn’t have a huge selection to choose from. The rooms weren’t anything fancy but they were clean and affordable and we were comfortable for our week stay here. Parking was convenient and daily breakfast was better than I expected with good food. The beds and bedding could be more comfortable because the sheets and pillow cover were a little stiff and noisy. The location was great and close enough for us to go for a run along the coast. We would stay here again if in the area. "

"We were looking for something last minute after an 11hour drive. The hotel has far exceeded our expectations. The pictures looked ok, but in reality this place is so much nicer. Really beautifully designed interior whilst respecting the heritage of the building, excellent bar, very friendly staff. All of this right on the doorstep of a national park with a lake to swim in. "Nice big room, with great toiletries in the bathroom. Comfortable living room area to relax in. One disappointment was having NO windows in the main bedroom & it was so dark in there! Food in restaurant was delicious! Breakfast was fabulous!! Having the beach on our doorstep was wonderful. We’ve really enjoyed our stay, many thanks!! "
