"I have finally found a place worthy of my business in Stephenville. On a whim, I decided to give the Interstate Inn a try. Though the pictures online were amazing, I went in with low expectations based on other hotels in the area. I could not have been more wrong. From the moment I stepped foot through the doors at check in to the moment I checked out, I had the best experience ever. At every turn, I found something to make me smile. Whether it was the wallpaper, the little splashes of color in the room, the little nooks and crannies of the courtyard area, and just all the attention to detail. I really felt like I was experiencing some Disney magic right there in Stephenville. I stayed in room 303 and the bed was amazing. I usually have a hard time getting comfortable because I have an adjustable bed at home, but I slept like a baby on the mattress in room 303. Just when I thought there couldn’t be any more “Disney like magic”, I remembered that I was told at check in there would be a continental breakfast at my door when I woke up. I truly thought it would be something thrown in a brown sack, but when I opened my door, there was the cutest green old school looking metal lunchbox that reminded me of something my grandfather would have owned at one point in his life. I think I might have squealed with excitement seeing that. Inside was pipping hot coffee in a thermos, 2 muffins, a banana, an orange, and nuts. I will be a repeat customer for sure. Can’t wait to go back. "

"Nice property to stay at while visiting the dinosaur park. The rooms were comfortable, basic, but nice. Friendly staff. The indoor pool was nice for the boys in our party (6 and 8 yo). Being November, it would have been too cold anywhere else with an outdoor pool. Would stay here again. "

"I'm spite of all the negative comments we found this property to be alright given the price point! The room was clean and comfortable and there was no evidence of an unclean condition. Front office staff was courteous and professional."

"We decided to stay here due to reviews and we were not disappointed! The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and the king bed was comfy. They offered a variety of pillows which was nice! If they are too thick, one just has to untuck the end and shake it good. Problem solved. NOTE: The only downside was the night clerk , changed us from handicap accessible to a regular room without asking first. I did not want to make a fuss, so we accepted it. I have PSa and a handicap room is such a help to me. One review complained about not being upgraded to a suite. If you want this, then do not book online call the hotel and book directly. Then ask for an upgrade at the desk. Online booking CAN NOT be changed. Someone also complained: Water smelling like sulfur. Yes, it does and NO it is not contaminated. There are no lakes in this area to gather water. This city and others around it run off well water. YES, it is treated and you should smell it before it is treated. Not nice. It is okay to drink and bathe in and no you do not smell like sulfur after a shower, just soap. Speaking of which, they offer a lovely specialty soap to bathe with and Dove shampoo conditioner and lotion. Breakfast was nice and hot! They has a free “Continental” Breakfast, but it is really a full breakfast. Make your own waffles; Belgium and State of Texas. Syrup and butter. Two kinds of cold cereal. Juices.
