"An excellent hotel but a nightmare to find. Google Maps took us to the same address as the hotel but in Winnipeg instead of Steinbach. That 1000 Main Street is full of street and homeless people, and derelicts, decrepit buildings with people leaning on the buildings. It was just awful and we were afraid about trying to get out to a safe location. Then the direction link which Expedia sent us directed us to an Autobody and Glass business, not the hotel. A kind Winnipeg police officer helped us to find Steinbach. The address on the listing said Highway 52 West rather than 1000 Main Street (which was also correct) so misunderstandings abounded. But the hotel staff (when we finally got there very late) were very helpful and kind. A nice place to stay as long as you can find it."

"We found the property clean and well supplied with the things we needed. The location was excellent for us and not far from the places we wanted to visit. We especially enjoyed the walking trail that is near by."

"The photos of the property are somewhat deceiving. There are more stairs than simply the front steps and none of the stairs have handrails. The back deck should be raised to be level with the sunroom.We also found it to be too cold in the cottage and had difficulty finding a blanket.It would also have been nice we had been able to put things away in the cupboards but all of them were full of stuff."

"We very much enjoyed our stay here. The location was nice and quiet. The basement suite itself was clean and bright. The beds were excellent! The living area was smaller but very functional."
