This condo in The Terraces at Eagle Ridge is a great choice for your Steamboat Springs vacation. It offers a single level, open concept layout, and nice quality furnishings. The development has lots of amenities to enjoy. Perhaps best of all, it offers you a very attractive location, right in the heart of the mountain village, within easy walking distance of Gondola Square. There is a lot to like about this place! Please read on for additional details.

With 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and a sleeper sofa in the living room, this condo is ideal for families or groups of 4 to 6 people. The living area is all one big space, so whether you're in the kitchen, dining area, or living room, you can enjoy the company of the other members of your group. The kitchen is fully equipped, you'll have the option to save money by preparing meals at home instead than eating out all the time. Get the day started right with a full breakfast, or make sandwiches for a picnic lunch on the ski mountain! The beautiful dining table seats 6 and is round, making it ideal for cards, games, or reminiscing about your day's adventures. The living room furniture is comfy and nicely spaced to take advantage of the fireplace and large HDTV. There's also a patio off the living room, a nice spot for summer guests to relax with a cup of coffee. The master bedroom has a Queen size bed and a private, en suite bathroom. This master bedroom also has an HDTV, dresser, and small closet for storing your luggage and clothes. The second bedroomhas a nice bunk bed, with a Twin on top, a Double/Full on the bottom, and another Twin that rolls out from underneath, making this bedroom well suited for siblings, singles, a couple, or a mix. It also has an HDTV, dresser and closet. The second full bathroom is off the main living space, which really helps if you have a larger group and will be using the sleeper sofa. Some additional features you'll enjoy include a selection of board games, a DVD player, stereo, and of course, free WiFi.

At this development, there are some great amenities to take advantage of. In ski season, this includes a complimentary private shuttle service to get you to and from the Gondola from 7:30 am to 5 pm. Of course you can easily walk to and from the Gondola, but this service might be nice for some groups. The year round free city bus picks up and drops off only about 150 meters from the building.The private shuttle in winter will pick you up right outside your door, and take you directly to the Gondola Transit Center. You don't need a car here in ski season! The free city bus can take you anywhere in town, including the grocery stores, downtown, to the ice rink, or the Old Town Hot Springs. If you're headed out of town for some snowmobiling, to a ranch for a sunset or sleigh ride dinner, or to the Strawberry Park Hot Springs, there are separate shuttles for those activities too.

The pool and hot tub area are right outside the building, and also right next to Burgess Creek. With mature landscaping and the creek, this is a very relaxing place to hang out. The pool is heated, so it and the hot tub are both open in winter and summer seasons. Seasonal closures for cleaning and maintenance tend to occur in spring and fall, so if you're visiting during these times, check with us on the status. There is also a very large fitness center for your use. It has an HDTV, lots of machines, and free weights too, so if you're not a skier, hiker, etc, you'll still be able to get in a workout, do some physical therapy, or have plenty of space for yoga. The building also has a picnic area next to the pool, with a charcoal grill for summer season guests to use.

Let's not forget to discuss the location. The building is very close to Gondola Square, which is the center of Steamboat's mountain village, and a hub of activity. Within 100 to 150 meters of this building, you will find groceries, spirits, ski & snowboard rentals, multiple dining options, even a Bavarian style beer hall. Gondola Square itself is only about 250 yards from the condo, a short, easy, and flat walk that even young kids will be able to handle. Gondola Square is where you will find the ski school, ticket office, shops, restaurants, and so much more. This area is host to lots of free concerts and other special events, such as weekly fireworks displays in ski season, the Cowboy Downhill, the Cardboard Classic, Splashdown Pond Skim, the list goes on. The heated promenade around the base area allows for easy walking and strolling year round, and night skiing really livens up the base area at night. Ski season guests will love the proximity to the slopes and lifts, but summer guests will love it just as much or more. Ski trails turn into hiking and biking trails. The ski area base transforms into a kid friendly zone full of activities. The snow melting high above on the ski area flows right through the base area in Burgess Creek. The flow is controlled and kept to a low volume that attracts kids to splash and play in safety. There are even a couple of beach areas to enjoy. So as you can see, this condo's location gives you direct access to a plethora of entertainment, activity, and dining that you'll surely enjoy. But Gondola Square is not the only reason this location is so great. As you can see in the photos, Burgess Creek also flows right past this building, and the Burgess Creek Trail, a paved path ideal for walking, strolling, jogging or biking, connects to the Mount Werner Trail and the Yampa River Core Trail. This gives you "right out the door" direct access to the Yampa River and Downtown Steamboat, which is less than 4 miles away. The creek also provides a very appealing ambiance for when you are taking advantage of the development's pool, hot tub, or picnic area.

Please note, though the building has an underground parking garage, all of the underground parking spots are assigned, and this unit does not have an underground parking spot. Fortunately, you don't really need a car when you stay here, since the location is so close to the everything, and you have easy access to the free city bus, and a free private ski season shuttle that goes to and from the Gondola from 7:30 am to 5 pm. Also, if you do plan to have a car, there is an outdoor parking area just outside of this unit. Please also note that our company has negotiated discounts for our guests on lift tickets, airport shuttles, ski and snowboard rentals, and more. Check the average high and low temperatures and weather forecast for your dates of travel, and look at the list of amenities to see if AC or fans are part of the rental property and look for ceiling fans in photos.
** Group Sizes, High Occupancy Fees, & Maximum Occupancy - Some properties use a “High Occupancy Fee” to “raise the rate” for larger groups, and are thus able to list a lower nightly rate for smaller groups. Each rental agreement and associated rates are for a specific group size. Guests must enter the correct and maximum group size at the time of booking. The agreement requires a guest to confirm the group size and subsequently, to disclose any changes to the planned group size, which may result in an increase, or decrease, to the total cost, and may result in a security deposit becoming required.
** Video & Noise Monitoring - Please note that noise monitoring devices, and security cameras, do exist on the exterior of the property. Cameras are positioned to cover all entrances and exits of the home. Cameras are present to ensure the property remains secure and safe, as well as to ensure that guests are honest and upfront about their planned use of the property. If you plan to bring more people than you've indicated, more dogs than indicated, to host a party or event, or do not intend to respect neighbors or the value and quality of the property, then this is not the place for you, and you should not book the property. Well the condo we stayed in does not match the photos. The place we stayed in was much nicer so here is my review of that place: We had a fantastic stay. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped, everything you need for a home cooked meal. Both the kitchen and bathrooms are newly renovated, and the fireplace added a nice touch. The reclining couches were super comfy, and having the garage and bus stop so close was really convenient. Overall, a cozy, well located spot that made our trip easy and enjoyable.

Overall good property only problem was the fireplace, it only worked when it wanted to.It may need a new switch. Perfect for 3 guys on a ski trip for a week. Small but cozy.

Great stay at terraces eagle ridge

First time at steamboat and we were really happy with our stay here. Easy to get to from hayden, check in was super easy, condo had everything we needed for the week. Comfy and cozy, the heated pool and hot tub were welcome and our 4 year old loved them. You can get to the pool/hot tun through the garage level sonyou never have to gonoutside. Same for getting back to the lobby where the shuttle picks up to go to mtn. Homestly this was prb the best perk, the private shuttle was awesome, even with the close proximity to the base. Mgmt company was easy to communicate with as well, and responsive. We’ll def be back to steamboat and will look here first for condo booking.

Good location but dirty

The host/owner was very nice and responsive whenever we called with questions. The coat hook was broken and hanging from the wall when we first got there (which ended up falling off) but our biggest issue was the lack of cleanliness. The sheets on pullout sofa were dirty and had hair on them, there were no pillows for sofa bed, someone else’s dirty socks and pants stuffed between top bunk and wall (so it makes me wonder if those were dirty too), the guest shower did not drain and handle was broken, the porch was full of leaves and dirt, the sofa bed was broken, the window ledge in master bath was dirty. Like I said the host was very nice but the place was not very clean.

Close to ski area

Condo is in a good location. The private shuttle is great going to and from the ski area. We didn’t use the city bus. Looking out the windows it’s more of a garden level but it worked great for us. Supplied well enough for our needs.

Great location

In Steamboat for a wedding, easy walk to the gondola for the ride up to the ceremony. Close to several good restaurants, Speckled Pig and Wild Plum.

Great property, with everything you could need. Lovely quiet neighborhood. Easy drive back to town to enjoy rodeo or shopping.

Great Quaint Property

Overall, this was a great place for a quiet getaway. The pool/hot tub area was small but refreshing. The unit is on the ground floor, so it was palatable to not have AC during the summer. Fans were provided and they assisted on creating a cooler temp, as desired. I would recommend this place to a small family!

Steamboat

The condo is cozy and clean! Its in a convenient location. The owner Judd gave me a call before our trip and he ws auper friendly, he gave me so info on places to go and a few restaurants. Overall we had a nice memorial day weekend in Steamboat Springs!

Central location, great value

Great, central location with everything we needed. Just right for walking to the lifts and enjoying local ski area amenities. Very quiet and comfortable.

Pleasant stay

Nice community-close to skiing, Gas fireplace, comfortable beds and shuttle pick up were the major pluses for this condo. Some minor details were addressed with property manager such as lack of coffee filters, a few plumbing issues and difficulty with keyless entry at times. Overall a nice stay!!!

Comfortable

Apartment is older but comfortable. It has the minimum needed amenities, comfortable beds and usable kitchen. Its a bout a 10 minute walk to the slopes ( There is a shuttle bus, but we never used it). The apartment owner is very helpful and offered lots of useful tips. The hot tub/pool area is acceptable, though there is no real changing area and the entrance is through the parking garage

Great stay close to mountain

Clean, comfortable, quiet condo exactly as described. A quick 2 minute drive or 7 minute walk from the gondola base. Owner was kind enough to call prior to our trip to give us tips about the area which were useful. Had one small hiccup upon check-in and the property manager answered the phone right away and solved the problem in under a minute. Would definitely stay again.

Great location, clean property, fantastic stay

Owner was extremely communicative and helpful. Provided many helpful suggestions about the area and the mountain. Property was very clean and pleasant. Location is close to mountain. Walkable or convenient shuttle ride. Would definitely rent again.

Cute little condo

This was a great place to stay in the Steamboat area. Walking distance to the mountain and the cutest little grocery store on the way (Wild Plum)!

All great, location is perfect

Everything was great and exceeded expectations. BTW, when walking to the gondola, there's a nice shortcut through the middle of the block that cuts the walk time in half to 5 minutes! Very convenient.

Good location

Good overall. Very hard to get the key to work on the exterior building door. My kids weren’t able to do this themselves and even us adults would sometimes struggle for a few minutes which was annoying. But overall we enjoyed our stay.
