"An amazing view and a brilliant hotel. They gave us two connecting rooms for our family of 4 and it was a lot of room. No air conditioning which meant it was hot but they provided fans. The pizza on site was amazing for dinner that night. The drive up to it can be scary as very sharp turns and a lot of incline. "This was an overnight stop on our way to Italy. The hotel was very quiet despite close proximity to the motorway. The staff were really helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed. Nice views over the surrounding hills. No tea/coffee in the room but a station off reception with free water, tea and coffee. "Breakfast starts at 8:30, and unfortunately there is nothing available for guests leaving earlier. You can’t even get a coffee before 8:30 in the hotel. The lady at reception informed me that the bars outside hotel was open, but it was closed as well. For guests with departures before 10:00 AM, this is really not practical. "Beautiful location with direct views to lake Como and mountains. Just a few yards from shore of the lake which has a pebbly beach. Great for swimming. Some good restaurants around and just across the road from the railway station. Amazing setting! The breakfast (Halal) is really good and sitting in the garden looking at the lake and mountains is bliss! Very helpful staff. It's one of the best 3* hotels we've stayed in."
