Perfect location with plenty of room

Great access to Heavenly and plenty of room for a large group. Lots of parking available too. We enjoyed the pool table in the living room/lounge in the evenings!

Great Ski in Ski out

The place was great for our group. Lots of rooms and it was clean. It is truly ski in ski out. You just have to walk across the street to get to the slopes. I would definitely recommend this place.

Incredible!!!

I hosted a wellness retreat here (in June) and it was fantastic!! I will definitely return. Why 5 ? Beautiful views inside and out, it’s quiet, serene, 13 min from town, close to many trails, 7 private rooms - several with private baths, big community space for eating and being together but also plenty of space to be alone. Kitchen is super functional and has plenty of what you need, laundry onsite on 2 out of the 4 floors and the owner was VERY communicative, responsive and accommodating. I had a full house and it was never cramped or crowded. Considerations: if you don’t like or cant do stairs, this house isn’t for you.

Fantastic Host & House

We are still smiling from our great ski trip with friends! This home had everything we needed and then some! We cooked all our meals in the house and all 14 of us fit perfectly! We loved being right on Stagecoach making it so easy to hit the slopes whenever we wanted! We especially enjoyed being able to sled once the lift closed. The host was very responsive to all my questions. Thank you, Brandi, for helping to make our trip so enjoyable!

Great location for ski in/out. Great for large groups as lots of beds and bathrooms, parking for several vehicles. Kitchen is a bit small and the lighting is kind of dim. Overall our group had a great time.

Cozy and beautiful house

Roomy fun house

We had a great time at The Bear on the Roof. Great location for hiking, going to town, etc. Kitchen was well stocked, bedrooms were comfortable, plenty of room to gather with family. Just loved the extra large kitchen table. We enjoyed the Lake Tahoe area immensely!

Does Not Get Much Better!!

We had a great time at this wonderful property. The location and amenities are first rate. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a large family or group retreat. It is right on Stagecoach run and is a 5 minute cab ride to the casinos/downtown. Thanks again Bob!!

This multi-level house is great for families. It is spacious, with lots of room for everyone. Be prepared to climb stairs, but well worth it for the view and the privacy. We made Thanksgiving dinner in the large, well-equipped kitchen without lacking for anything. Great location and the owner was very helpful to us.

The perfect house

This home truly has everything for everyone. The kitchen is stocked better than a professional chefs kitchen, many different rooms for games, reading, pool and tv. Brandi is first rate and her caring touches and amazing responsiveness was what really made our trip so enjoyable.

great location

This place had awesome vies of the slopes and great amenities. We cooked big dinners upstairs and and the table fit us all perfectly. They had everything you need to set the table for a feast and to cook it. We were able to party downstairs without bothering people upstairs. Waking up and walking across the street to the ski run was awsome and very convenient. We would definitely stay here again. I've rented dozens of cabins in tahoe and this one is one of the best.

Great Family Vacation Home

This house did not disappoint, it was a great property to stay at for our large family vacation in South Lake Tahoe. The house offered ample space to spread out and relax. Check in/Check out was smooth and easy. The one thing I will say is be prepared to get a bit of workout in, this property is set on an incline so the house has several flights of steps to get just even to the main door of the house, but trust me it is worth it! Overall my family and I had a lovely stay here, and would recommend to all!

Most Accomodating Place to Stay

We were in Tahoe for a wedding. Being the Groom's family, we hosted the rehearsal dinner. All condiments, spices, pots, crockpots, great grill, etc were all available to us. The bedrooms comfortable slept 14 of us. In addition to the house itself being fabulous, there were walking trails nearby that were fun to hike. The only warning I would have, is there are 55 steps to get up to the main floor of the house. Even our over 70 year olds were able to make it up, because there were nice landing stops to rest.
