10/10 Excellent

"This was by far one of the coolest rooms I’ve stayed in. It was both my fiancés and mine first time to Tahoe. It was clean, well organized, and very very spacious. I did miss the whole no AC thing that’s on me. But I definitely recommend utilizing the fans they give to pull some air from outside in the hotter months. The staff were incredibly nice and all the amenities you get were really really cool. 10/10 I’d stay again."

The Coachman Hotel

"We had a great stay at the Coachman Hotel in South Lake Tahoe. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff worked hard to make sure guests had everything they needed. The only minor inconvenience was that our room was located across from the main office, so it took a little extra time to walk over whenever we needed something. The pool was nice and clean, although it is on the smaller side. There were about 8–10 people using it at one point, and it felt a bit crowded. What really stood out was the location. It’s within walking distance of Heavenly Village, restaurants, shops, and other attractions, so we hardly had to drive. The price was also much more reasonable compared to many of the nearby hotels, making it a great value. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the Coachman Hotel to anyone looking for a clean, affordable, and conveniently located place to stay in South Lake Tahoe."

Hotel Becket, BW Signature Collection

"Parking is very limited, however the staff is very helpful with showing you alternate parking. The rooms are small but clean and the bathroom/shower is even smaller. The location is INCREDIBLE as it is 5 minutes from the lake. The staff is awesome. There aren’t elevators so keep that in mind when you’re packing heavy stuff. They are pet friendly, however there is limited areas for them to go potty."

3 Peaks Resort & Beach Club

"The 3 Peaks was a wonderful little place for my stay in South Lake Tahoe. It was well maintained and very cozy. The staff was friendly and happy to help with any questions we had. The location of 3 Peaks is excellent with a short 2 minute walk to a private beach that has access to watercraft rentals as well as a short few minute walk to Heavenly Village and the casinos. I will definitely be returning to the 3 Peaks. Side note: the private beach does require you to get a voucher from your hotel before heading down and there is a fee of $5.00 to enter."

The Jeffrey Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"It was self check in, which we have done before but so that is fine. But there was no one on the property until the cleaning crew came the next morning. Our shower flooded the bathroom with water. The bathroom door was warped. The door was not easy to open and close. It was a sliding barn door. The door did not give complete privacy when closed. The door did not cover the opening of the door when closed. There was a rubber strip along the floor to keep the shower water from going out of the shower to the floor. It was not glued down so it did nothing to keep the water from spreading or the floor. We stayed one night. We spoke to the cleaning staff the next morning. They knew about the flooding in the bathroom. I feel this should have been fixed before allowing someone to stay in the room. Luckily we are not people who take long showers, the water could have been clear out in the room. The hotel is in a beautiful area. Which helped."
