"In the photos, the hotel seems luxurious, but in reality, it is not. Ostentatious furniture, which I assume cost a lot of money. The rooms have poor finishing and cracked walls .The water in the shower was merely lukewarm, even when set to the maximum temperature.
The breakfast was tasty.There were many options for cold dishes, but for hot dishes, only sausages and scrambled eggs were available.

Pillows a little crappy, but the vibe overall is fab. The front desk staff are particularly delightful, and it really does affect ones stay. The grounds are fun to explore, and you can really feel the history. Plus I do love some original wainscoting and old world wooden elements that are property preserved."
"The property has both positives and negatives. On the plus side: excellent bedding and generously sized beds, ample seating and storage, and an absolutely delicious breakfast buffet. The building is older, with signs of modernization that haven't been fully carried through. Some of the imperfections aren't just cosmetic but pose a hazard — for example, interior door frames with nails not fully concealed, and an uneven floor with a change in level at the bathroom entrance.
