"The rooms are outdated but they were clean. The hot tubs were down unfortunately which was one reason we booked this resort so that was a bummer but the staff was great and the price was right. The views were gorgeous and it's near hiking trails and a bike trail. Would book it again if they update their rooms and amenities."

"We visited during leaf-peeping season, so the property was not fully occupied. It was clean, well-maintained and tastefully renovated very recently. Location was ideal and the breakfast was sufficiently stocked with all of the basics. The staff was very attentive and responsive, providing suggestions for dining and local activities. Only suggestion is for side-sleepers like myself, to bring your own pillow. The ones provided were too large and stiff for my taste."

Big Bears Lodge

"A wonderful rustic Lodge setting, right down the road from Mt. Snow. The rooms were quiet and clean. There's a couple nice seating/living room areas, one with a big TV and fireplace. A nice outdoor hot tub and pool as well as a fire pit and children's play structure with swings, is out back. A wonderful breakfast is cooked for you in the morning before you leave. To top off our stay, I opened my curtains in the morning, and not a second later, a large young or female moose trots by and disappears into the woods outback!!!"
