The Grand is a spectacular property; the location is simply terrific. This particular property, however, is a bit tired. The 4-bedroom layout is very nice and the bed variety and arrangement is nice. But everything feels a bit old. Moreover, the cleaning was below average - there were coffee grounds and cold coffee left in the coffee pot, for instance. And the tile floor, while clear of debris, was not adequately cleaned, as evidenced by the dirt on our socks! The furniture was also nice but the upholstery hasn't been cleaned in quite some time and rust stains on outdoor furniture and fixtures, along with a missing switch plate, gave the place a tired look. The giant TV in the den, combined with the YouTubeTV, was great. But the TVs in the bedrooms didn't work.
All in all then, a very good location but this unit needs a facelift and a good cleaning. Still, it was a nice and enjoyable Thanksgiving visit.
