We offer you a beautiful and spacious independent apartment of 80m2 fully renovated ground floor of a farmhouse, in a quiet, near the center of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence (700m) for walking or cycling. The apartment can receive 4 to 6 people. Admission is independent roadside (30km / h limit), access to the garden is by external stairs through a private terrace available to the tenant also, as well as two parking spaces for your vehicles. Guests have access to a quiet garden (900m2) and swimming pool (11X5. 5m) secure 1. 5 to 2. 1m depth that are shared with the owners at certain times of the year, sun loungers at sheltered from the wind by a cypress hedge and a large fig tree, a brick barbecue are at your disposal as well as swings, a slide, a trampoline for children are available in a secure area, spacious and designed for the well being of the entire family.


The apartment consists of two rooms: a bedroom with a double bed (180X200) and a large dressing room with cupboards, desk with chair; a second chamber composed of two single beds (90X200). A large living room, both living room and kitchen, a comfortable sofa bed (160x200) for two additional adults, TV, DVD, free WiFi available, bar area. St. Remy July 2023

We spend a very nice time in St. Remy! The flat was nicely cool, even though outside temperatures were in the mid 30's. The pool was fantastic and a big joy for us. Same with the garden and places to stay / sit, a really nice spot in St. Remy, also close to the city centre. The fact that the garden and pool are not accessable directly from the flat was no problem at all. Cecilia and Roland were always ready and available to support in case of questions or problems. Thanks a lot to both of you! :)

Great location, wonderful hosts, apartment had everything we needed for our 4-day stay. It is in Saint-Remy where Van Gogh spent his last year, close to Avignon, Arles, Pont-Du-Gard, LOTS of Roman ruins… Garden is lovely and has a pool for those who visit in the summer. We very much enjoyed our here.

St Remy

The house was a quaint farmhouse, well furnished. Close enough to walk to the town center. We felt comfortable and safe during our stay. I would look forward to a repeat visit.

A Perfect Rental

My granddaughter and I could not have asked for a better place to stay during our 5 days of exploring the sites around St. Remy. The property had everything one could want. It was perfectly clean and very comfortable. It was a short walk into town which we enjoyed every morning.

Very comfortable, spacious apartment with excellent hosts

The apartment is very attractively decorated and the couches and bed were very comfortable. The large bathtub and large walk-in shower were luxurious and functioned very well. The kitchen is very well equipped. The off-street parking was easy to use. The owners' apartment is overhead. They were available if we had questions but not intrusive at all. The pool looked very inviting. We'd like to return when the weather is warmer but we loved sightseeing and walking to the hospital where Vincent Van Gogh was convalescing in cooler weather.

Good appartment, bad owner

The apartment is quite disregarded and the communication and attitude of the owner really disappointing. The house wasn’t clean at our arrival (olive bones in the floor of the kitchen, hair and rest of toothpaste in the bathroom, etc). We had to swept and wash everything. The swimming pool also had some problems and the water was green. The communication with the owner was scarce and disappointing. Just few messages where she regretted what happened, but didn’t show up and refund us the cleaning fee, as she said she would do. She was living upstairs, so for us it was also quite awkward. For the rest the house is full equipped. It’s a basement with few natural light, but cozy. The swimming pool has a different entrance (directly from the owners’ floor) and in a location close to the city centre (5min on foot)

we had a lovely stay

Upon arrival we were welcomed by the owners of the house, and got a tour through the house and garden. When we requested extra towels because there were only 2 towels provided per person that wasn't a problem. The house was clean, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. The garden and swimming pool was definitely the best part of the holiday home, it was lovely and peaceful and the temperature of the pool was just perfect. When you get used to the fact that the entrance isn't attached to the garden, this isn't a problem. However, i wouldn't recommend this house to a family with children because when exiting the front door you basically walk straight onto the street. Even though the street has a 30 km speed limit, there is a lot of traffic that drives too fast, and the traffic sometimes woke us up in the night. Unfortunately the owners cannot do anything about it. Another not so positive part is the WIFI. There was hardly any connection in the apartment so if you want to email or FaceTime your family or watch some Netflix you are up for a disappointment. But there are so many positive sides to this house! The walk to town is about 15 minutes so you can easily go to the bakery in the morning to get some fresh baguettes. Because the house is situated in the basement it stays very cool inside even though it's boiling outside, so that was a great advantage for our stay in summer. We have really enjoyed our stay and the surrounding area. St Remy is a lovely town with a great market on Wednesday, supermarkets are nearby. We would recommend this house for it's lovely garden and decor but not to families with children. Thank you Cecile for the hospitality!

Gîte très bien situé permettant d’aller à Saint Rémy de Provence à pied. Intérieur et extérieur très soignés.Hôtes accueillants.Bien noter que l’accès au jardin et piscine se fait par l’extérieur de la maison, pas d’accès direct terrasse et cuisine.

L’hébergement correspond à la description et apporte tout l’équipement nécessaire pour une vie de famille en vacances. La literie est confortable et l’hébergement frais malgré les fortes chaleurs estivales.Le bien est situé à 10-15 minutes à pied du centre de Saint-Rémy de Provence.La piscine est propre et agréable. Elle est assez profonde que pour permettre de nombreux plongeons. L’espace terrasse est très agréable si bien en après-midi qu’en soirée. Un espace barbecue est disponible. Le wifi est accessible jusqu’à la terrasse.Le seul bémol: être obligé de passer par la rue (3 mètres puis un escalier) pour se rendre dans le jardin.Nous recommandons!

Falsche Angaben, grobe Täuschung

Wir sind angekommen. Auf Nachfrage wann die Vermieterin kommt, gab es keine Antwort. Die Wohnung war mit großem Garten und Pool beworben. Bei Ankunft erfährt man, dass der Pool nur zwischen 12 und 17 Uhr genutzt werden kann und dann auf Nachfrage, dass er erst ab Juli zur Verfügung steht. D.h. für uns gar nicht. Dies wird weder im Angebot noch im Vertrag, der nach Abschluss zugesendet wird, kommuniziert. Auch ansonsten ist die Unterkunft für Familien mit Kindern eigentlich nicht tauglich (schlecht durchlüftet, Fenster nur zur Straße). Man kann tagsüber nur Fenster in unmittelbarer Straßennähe öffnen und diese nicht kippen. Auch nachts ist lüften nicht möglich, weil Autos direkt am Fenster vorbeifahren. Ich halte das Angebot für eine grobe Täuschung. Da wir erst abends angekommen sind, mussten wir eine Nacht bleiben und sind am nächsten Tag in der Früh abgereist. Auf Nachfrage, ob wir eine Erstattung erhalten, ist erst gar nicht und dann sehr unfreundlich reagiert worden. Achtung Abzocke!

Es war superschön!!

Die Ferienwohnung liegt fußläufig nur 10 Minuten vom Zentrum St. Rémy entfernt und ist ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für viele Ausflüge in die wunderschöne Provence. Die Wohnung ist etwas ungewöhnlich, da nur nach vorne heraus Fenster vorhanden sind, aber sie ist gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Auch der Umstand, dass der Zugang zum Garten etwas umständlicher ist, war für uns kein Problem und haben wir für den tollen Pool gerne in Kauf genommen. Wir danken ganz herzlich für die sehr nette Gastfreundschaft!!

Excellent séjour dans cette location très bien entretenue et décorée avec goût Spacieuse et bien agencée, elle garde la fraîcheur même en pleine canicule. le jardin est magnifique et le mobilier d'extérieur en fer forgé adapté et confortable. Toller Garten & Pool, kurzer Weg in die Stadt

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. St Remy ist grossartig und man ist in 10 min zu Fuß in der Innenstadt (ideal, um morgens Baguette und Croissants zu holen). Der Pool macht Spass und der Pavillion, unter dem im Halbschatten gegessen werden kann, sehr stilvoll und abends mit einer Lichterkette nett beleuchtet. Das Appartment war bei über 30 Grad angenehm kühl.

Accueil rafraîchissant..

Gîte parfaitement équipé avec beaucoup de charme et à proximité de StRémy comme indiqué...heureusement. Mais lisez bien les avis -publiés...- de chacun. Notez donc: toutes les ouvertures donnent sur la route Il faut longer la maison côté route pour gnagner la terrasse puis le jardin. La terrasse à disposition au-dessus de la route.. est vide ..tout comme la piscine (week-end de l'ascension). Balançoire, trampoline, BBQ à l'abandon et dangereux. Les propos du propriétaires comme les réponses aux autres avis visent à avoir le dernier mot. Ma colère fut à la hauteur de ma déception et de leur mauvaise foi. Et de tout ce que j'ai entendu le pire fut qu'ils souhaitaient me mettre dehors.. et oui, c'est qui le client? Quant au site qui héberge l'annonce, elle cautionne. Bonne chance.
