""Shimmers" is one of the best places we have stayed on the island and we have been coming for a good few years. We have stayed in some lovely places and some shabby but this is definitely in the former category. The house feels brand new with lovely linen and towels, a superb kitchen and the whole layout exudes calm and relaxation which is what we needed. The maid came twice a week and in this respect it is akin to staying in a hotel but with complete privacy. Of course its on the golden coast...

"The property is spotless : very clean and tidy and in excellent condition and the facilities on site are superb. It is only a 10 minute short walk down the hill to Mullins Beach. The property is in the midst of other residential properties. Do not use Google maps to direct : it will take you down a rough road to the property : keep on ABC highway until a main junction takes you down into Speightstown."

"Excellent location, Heywoods beach is great with crystal clear waters. Local shops have everything you need in Speightstown. With a hire car made it easy to explore the island. Fantastic pool, with great views of the sunsets the front balcony.Communication with Chris before and during the stay was excellent "
