"As always The Wren was an exceptional place to stay. Welcoming to pups and the employees who Checked us in and checked us out were friendly and fun to chat with. There was one exception. As we were leaving we asked for a towel from the front desk. Our dog had jumped in the river and we wanted to dry him off a bit before we got in the car. It looked as though the employees were having a meeting. One man looked at us and said, we only have towels with urine on them. We were taken aback a little....

"Skeptical at first. Booked online, had a great rating and pics on reservation site. When we pulled up it seemed like a typical “motel” and doubted the roomed matched the pics. Pleasantly surprised!! Rooms were very clean with modern decor and fixtures. Beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. Clean bedding and bathrooms. Shower was hot. Perfect for our one evening stay. Would definitely book there again for a multi-day stay in Missoula."

"I don't know why they have hot tub listed, we booked for that, it was closed for the season. That's should be mentioned. The heaters in the next room were so loud they made the windows rattle. Make sure you bring ear plugs. Room was clean, staff was pleasant, but didn't have the pool or hot tub open, so if you're booking for that or a light sleeper go somewhere else."

"The toilet hadn’t been cleaned properly because there was an orange colored ring in the toilet bowl. The 2 lamps attached to the headboard were coated in thick dust. I have breathing issues and I had an asthma attack during the night. Also, the safety latch on the door fell off in my hand while I was locking the door! I reported these issue to the front desk and they had maintenance fix the lock the following day, but I didn’t feel very safe that night! I feel that the hotel should’ve...

"Stayed three nights at this property. All of the staff we dealt with were very friendly. Our room had everything we needed and was very clean. Each morning they had a different variety of breakfast items to choose from and it was good. The property backs up to a little creek amongst beautiful trees that you can enjoy around a fire pit…it’s lovely. When we come thru Missoula again, we will definitely stay here. "
