"A great place to stay for us as a stop over on the way to France via the tunnel (20 mins drive).Really comfortable beds, very clean, newly renovated, with a small sitting room and two beds with 2 bathrooms. Just what we were looking for and they let dogs stay. We usually stay in a Premier Inn but this was far better value, plus the pub downstairs was excellent. Good choice of beer, great food and perfect hospitality - what more could you ask for?? Fully recommended!"

"Check in was easy and location was good, thise are the only positives. The property is extremely dated and dirty. The furnishings in communal areas were torn, threadbare, stained, dirty and smelly. The carpets were dirty, covered in dog and human hair. There was mould above the shower and dirt and mould under the sink. The areas around the toilets were soiled with rusted old urine splashes. "Very pleasant welcome. Room clean but wardrobe disappointing and smell in bathroom otherwise nice room. Enjoyed a beer in the garden at night! Great breakfast! Bit disappointing when checking out as waited 5 minutes and no staff appeared! As we didn’t need to settle any bill I just left the key on the counter."

"Overall the hotel was a lovely place to stay. A perfect location for exploring Rye. The staff were all excellent and extremely helpful and friendly. We stayed for one night and the breakfast was superb. The only complaint was the state of the little balcony we had which over looked the car park. It would have taken minutes to sweep the dirty floor, pull up the weeds that looked as though they’d been there for weeks and maybe put a pot plant on the table. The table and chairs were rusty but just about acceptable. All 3 balconies were in the same state which was a shame as they could have looked lovely with just a few minutes of tlc and imagination. Having said that I would definitely go back."

"Very nice room, aircon worked extremely well, had to turn it down a bit despite staying over on one of the heatwave nights. Staff were excellent, and breakfast was nice as well. Only thing to mention was the lack of parking availability. Whilst I booked my parking spot well in advance, it was clear they filled up very quickly, and weren't enough spaces for guests. There were EV chargers as well, which were all working and easy to use, but once the car was charged, there was no space to move it to a regular parking spot, so the hotel staff told me to just leave it there overnight, blocking someone else from potentially using it - not ideal for a Hilton. Overall though, excellent, would definitely stay again."
