Know two things: 1) bathroom is in a separate building next door; 2) food choices, especially before the weekend, are almost non existent. But that's not the owners fault-they provided a great place to stay and we will do so again next time we are on the Katy. Thanks!"

"This place was absolutely fantastic. My wife and I were looking for a getaway and this was just it. We had absolutely zero cell phone service, no wi-fi, plenty of DVDs to watch. We must have watched 30 movies. I did take the TV and DVD player down to the couch sitting area. It's so far secluded back in nature that you literally see nobody. It is exactly what we were looking for and we will definitely be back. Town is about 10 to 15 minutes away and do not let the creek crossing to the property scare you. It is hard as a rock. I drove my one ton diesel across it to the cabin and you could easily take any SUV...... it was so wonderful not having any Wi-Fi or cell phone service to be bothered. We are actually thinking that it might be a good healthy move from here on out randomly. Toby and this property is a 100% perfect place to unwind from the world. We will be back. 10s"
