"The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. Rooms were clean every day. The only downsides I noticed was that something was wrong with the ac and it was very loud for a few minutes when starting. I probably should have mentioned it to the staff and they likely would have taken care of it. The nights were mild and the ceiling fan was like an airplane propeller so I’d just shut the AC off and all was good. The showers didn’t get hot. None of this was a deal breaker for me. I’d gladly go back. Didn’t use the pool but it looked very nice. I walked pretty much everywhere from the property."

"The hotel was in the perfect location. It’s a bit out dated and the WiFi was wacky but aside from that it was great. Right on the water and close to restaurants and the water ferry. Hotel is located right on the Carnival route. There is a movie theater for family entertainment, a casino and bar for adult entertainment. Overall, great place to stay"

"Our stay here was for our honeymoon and it was perfect! Very peaceful, relaxing and accommodating. The staff was great. Justin and Ervin were great in the kitchen and bar service. The food was excellent and they were able to meet my wife's gluten free diet with every meal. Manager Barry is great and has stories for days. It really felt like a family more than a staff!!"

The food deserves a special mention—every meal was phenomenal! Having three delicious, home-cooked meals prepared fresh each day was such a treat. Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and made with care, and we looked forward to every breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The facility itself was spotless and very well maintained. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully cared for, making it easy to relax and enjoy every moment of our stay. What truly sets Tarpon Sands apart is how accommodating they are. Whether it was helping with activities, making sure we were comfortable, or simply going the extra mile to ensure we had a great experience, the staff consistently exceeded our expectations. If you're looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway with exceptional service, amazing food, and a beautiful, well-kept property, I can't recommend Tarpon Sands enough. We left with wonderful memories and can't wait to return!"
