"We were offered an upgrade on our room for an extra £160. We didn't think it was worth the expense, as we only received a few cans of coke cola, two bottles of water and two cans of gin. One evening in the restaurant I ordered a cornish steak and ale pie meal which was inedible. Very chewy meat, this was returned. I did however have a meal replacement at no cost. Excellent location but I have been in much nicer hotels with better facilities. I would give it 7 out of 10 ."

"Missing many of what you’d expect of a hotel at this price ~ No air conditioning meant you had to open the window to the noisey street - no fridge, no safe in the room, very little storage space - no hand towels or face cloths provided - very very little space to put anything down when in en-suite."

"This is my new home in London. With a full kitchen and laundry facilities right in the room, you can really settle in and enjoy. Breakfast is also tasty and the Tower of London is right around the corner, including the Tower Hill tube stop."
