"One of the reasons we wanted to stay here is because of the Limestone Bar at the top. Unfortunately, it was closed for a private event from 5-8pm (which was understandable), but the staff chose not to reopen the bar after the event. The service at the main bar downstairs was slow, there were two menu items that were not available, and the staff was not very friendly. "

"The Code Hotel in Austin, TX is a virtual nightmare. Literally. The main entrance is underground from an unsigned driveway from a back street with, obviously, a different address than the hotel. I saw no person attending, and the garage was so creepy, I wouldn't go through the gated entry. When I called the hotel and expressed my disapproval, the person on the phone hung up on me. I needed valet parking services and the main reason I booked this hotel was for that. However, no valet was apparent, and the whole "virtual front desk" and parking arrangements was so creepy and potentially dangerous, I called the Code Hotel, cancelled my stay, and booked a room in a real hotel, with real people in attendance."

"They didn’t have Kleenex in room . Also didn’t have enough fruits for breakfast. Very bad smell in lobby on 3 rd floor. Never had this bad experience before. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone."

"Front desk staff was fine. The other staff within the hotel is lacking. The poolside bar staff was pretty rude. The guy argued with me about what I ordered … even when he turned out to be wrong he was still rude. Coffee shop staff also give off the air that they would rather pour coffee on you than for you. We have stayed at this location a few times and probably will start staying somewhere else. It’s a great location and the pool is heated and peaceful but we’re tired of dealing with employees that make our stay unpleasant. "
