"I wanted to stay somewhere a little quirky and thought that this place would be ideal. There was a very steep lane on arrival. The hut shown in the picture is not the one we were in. We were under the impression that there was only one hut but we spotted 4 altogether. The reason I wanted the one in the photo was because it was close to the toilets as I have a stomach/digestion disorder and have to use the toilet during the night. We arrived about 4pm, unpacked the car and had a Quick Look...

"Clean well presented accommodation, check was easy and well communicated, parking was easy to find with the addition of photos to help. Good location and pet friendly, close to town with a few steep steps but you quickly get used to that. Maybe a parasol would be nice to go with the table and chairs outside, even more so in this current heat wave. Make sure you bring some milk/water with you, if your after a tea/coffee after that long drive down, think that was the only thing missing would be a...

"The property was lovely, spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable, showers worked well. Kitchen was clean and plenty of utensils.
Only 2 tea bags and small amount of coffee in a jar that had been used previously. And opened used bag of sugar so wasn't too happy about that. We bought our own cleaning stuff as we were there for 4 nights, although there was cleaning stuff left for us. Ive stayed in some places and they've left better supplies of tea etc and even water bottles.
Other then that...

"As always a very good job done by housekeeping and the Lodge was spotless. However there were a few things that need attention such as a missing blind and stained carpet. This didn't affect the enjoyment of our stay.
The Spa was good and friendly staff. The access to the pool is very restricted for children which is understandable. This will probably mean we are unlikely to return with children although we also visit as a couple."
"The staff were very nice and helpful. The bedroom was well sized, and warm, for an old building. The water pressure wasn’t great but the temperature was good. The pub had a good range of food, and the breakfast in the morning was very nice.
Great spot for Charlestown and St Austell, with the harbour on the doorstep."
Holiday Inn Express Bodmin - Victoria Junction by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Immaculately clean hotel from the main reception and eating area to our family room and including lift and stairwells! We honestly thought it had only been open for 6 months not 6 years!! Fantastic and friendly staff. Breakfast was of a great quality. This was an excellent overnight stay - thank you to Kerry and the rest of the team who helped us during our stay."
Stunning Sea/Harbour Views in a Beautiful Stone Built Cottage - Village Location
10/10 Excellent
"We absolutely loved our stay here. The cottage is beautiful and so well equipped. It has all cooking equipment, a nespresso machine, dishwasher, washing machine etc.
It's ideally located, close to the harbour, shops etc. There is quite a steep hill to walk up but that didn't bother us. There is a parking space for a small car but my car is on the larger size so we paid to park in Willows for the week.
The communication with the owner was perfect, both before and after. I got 5 hours into my journey home and realised I'd left all of our coats and a bag on the coat hooks. I messaged Tamsin and within 48 hours they had arrived at my house.
I would 100% stay here again!"
"Ground floor flat was well set out, clean, comfy beds with everything needed for an enjoyable stay. We could see the sea in the distance over the bushes. The room photographed on the website is not the one we stayed in as no balcony or great sea view. But maybe they have several properties in the complex? Free car parking spot was appreciated"
"Welcoming staff. Lovely bedroom with amenities and comfy bed and wonderful bedding. Food excellent. Really dog friendly. parking no problem. Highly recommended"
"You can't get more practical of a stay location: I was here for 2 nights to visit the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project. I managed to quickly drop off my luggage before check in (it's only a few mins walk from the train/bus station) and turn right around in time to catch the bus to the Gardens. Breakfast was great both times and highly appreciated. My room was super big and my bed was really comfy."
