Top Spruce Pine Hotel Reviews
Super 8 by Wyndham Marion NC
8/10 Good
"My room was very clean and comfortable. The staff show real interest in their customers. The breakfast needs to be more diverse; fruits and juices would help."
The Highlands at Sugar
8/10 Good
"Clean rooms and great price. Bedroom blinds were broken otherwise we will be back."
Parkview Lodge & Cabins
10/10 Excellent
"If you're looking for the Waldorf Astoria, this ain't it! Still I give it high marks and look forward to returning. The room was comfortable and practical. We had everything we needed. The price was reasonable - especially for "pet friendly" and the hosts, Sam and Mita, made us feel like we were staying with family. This area was hit hard by Hurricane Helene and a few items still need a little "tightning up" such as pot holes at the hotel entrance, but the massive efforts on post hurricane renovation are also evident. As stated, we'll be back!"
Courtyard By Marriott Sugar Mountain Banner Elk
10/10 Excellent
"Room 230 was a nice and quiet clean room. The only negative about the stay, was the body wash dispenser in the walk in shower did not work. "
Hampton Inn Black Mountain
8/10 Good
"I love the property. My room was on the second floor this time. There was a stale odor in the room this time"
The Inn at Shady Lawn
10/10 Excellent
"Needed a quick night stop and the staff were so friendly and accommodating"
Super 8 by Wyndham Black Mountain/Asheville East
8/10 Good
"Breakfast was very minimal, just juice, cheap coffee and two kinds of pastry.."
Switzerland Inn
8/10 Good
"Our only real complaint would be the servers in the restaurants. Our fortieth anniversary dinner in the Chalet Restaurant was dampened by a distracted waitress that had to be asked numerous times for water and cocktail napkins for our glasses that were sweating all over our table and dripping on our clothes. Our food came to us lukewarm so we didn’t even stay for dessert. Our first night there I made reservations for The Pub not knowing they only had high top tables which are not comfortable for one of us due to a medical condition. The hostess told me we couldn’t be seated in the Taproom because that was not what I reserved. When I questioned our server about it she said it was because there was only one server in the Taproom and when I pointed out that serving only had two people seated in that area she pretty much just ignored me. Besides our dining experiences we loved Switzerland Inn. We loved our view and our balcony!!"
Little Switzerland Cabin For Romance And Soul Shine!
