"My first night I was woken by a very loud buzzing coming through the wall of my room 321. I didn’t notice it when I went to bed because of the tequila I had at my daughter’s birthday party. I could not get back to sleep so at 6:00 am I requested a different room. The gal at the desk gave me another room but did not check out the noise. When I finally woke I asked for another night to make up for the miserable night. The gal at the desk again did not check out the sound. She said she would speak with her boss. When I came back and asked if there were any messages for me ? Nothing. So I asked a third person and again I was told she would ask her boss. I never got an answer and none of the staff bothered to go listen to the horrible buzzing in room 321. The rooms were beautiful and so was the facility. The staff had no follow through and I had a miserable night. So I paid for one night of torture. Know one seemed to care. I was in town to play a show and it went well."

"How soon can I go back? I can't say enough about this lake house. We hung out on the dock for hours, and when the breeze picked up we hung out on the top deck of the cabin instead--it's protected from wind by trees. When one day it started raining, we moved to the lower deck, which is sheltered by the top deck. Any one of those spots would make the cabin worthwhile, but being able to move between the three takes it to the next level. Meg and Wes were incredible hosts, responsive within minutes when we texted. The bed was super cozy and the house is better stocked than any vacation rental I've been to. We loved our time there."
