"We absolutely loved our stay at The Buxton. The staff are amazing. The location's proximity to CSU and Old Town Fort Collins make it ideal for a FoCo stay. While some things, like an in room refrigerator might be an issue for some, the other amenities more than make up for it. We enjoyed trying the red light mask and the Vegas nerve stimulator, and if things like the pink and black decor don't tell you all you need to know about the vibe, these might. What they've done to renovate this older motel is simply superb. The grounds and room were spotless. The morning coffee in the lobby was better than most other places we've stayed. The staff went above and beyond. We live local and we will certainly come back for another staycation in the future."

"Perfect location to enjoy Horsetooth Reservoir and have some fun at night with live music next door at the Tavern. Very friendly atmosphere. Jetted tub was nice. There was a picture of a BBQ, so I brought steak & hamburgers to grill for 2 nights of dinner...... NO PROPANE. Wish I would of know that major detail when planning meals.Had to use the oven using a pizza pan for the steak. LOL. Still was a great time. Thanks!"

"We came to Fort Collins for my niece’s birthday, and what a great weekend! The house was fantastic and perfect for what we needed. We loved being so close to the marina, where we rented kayaks and jet skis.The location was wonderful—we got to enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of the mountains while still being close to the city. The area is beautiful, with amazing views.Before our stay, I read a few reviews mentioning the steep driveway and the upstairs bedrooms being warm. The driveway is definitely steep, but you’re in the mountains, so that’s somewhat expected. We had absolutely no trouble getting up or down. As for the upstairs bedroom, we didn’t have any issues with the temperature at all.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and a great weekend. Thank you so much—we would definitely stay here again!"

"We had issues with the website and late check out. The host contacted us right back and put up with my million back and forth messages about the 3rd party site -which they had no control over. Literally all hours when I had questions about the property prior to book (night shift messages on my end). They were so responsive, flexible, and patient. If they arent over us from being a pain this last time, we will absolutely be back."

"This is the second time we stayed atThis beautiful and spacious home. A family of 14 ( both kids and adults) was a great fit. The kids love it there with the backyard, trampoline, fort etc. Communication with the host is superb and they are always eager to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable."
