"A great apartment away from the hustle and bustle of the main touristy areas of Malta. The views over the harbour were fantastic, the apartment was very spacious and well equipped for the 4 of us. The views over the harbour were fantastic. We enjoyed several coffees whilst watching the sunrise.Airport transfers were arranged through the house manager and both journeys from and to the airport went smoothly. Communication with both the owners and the house manager was excellent. There is a good selection of restaurants a short walk away as well as a couple of supermarkets, a butchers and a fishmongers. Buses into Valletta and beyond run regularly and are a good way to explore the island if you don't want to drive, a 7 day pass is a good option for bus travel.We could hear traffic noise and noise from one of the restaurants/ bars on an evening, however that did not bother us and we thoroughly recommend this apartment."

"The Dun Gorg Hotel is a fantastic place to stay in Malta. It is close to the airport and the capital city. We really appreciated all the little gifts they left for us every day and when we contacted them about an issue they were very quick to respond! Even the after service has been exceptional as we had an issue with our original booking and they have gone over and above to help us. If you are looking for a place to stay in Malta who go over and above for their guests, I highly recommend the Dun Gorg Guest Hotel."

"Located right on the beach of Pretty Bay and next to the Bus Terminus the hotel is easy to reach. The hotel has a late 90's, Early 00's vibe and could do with a bit of a refresh. The room I had was comfortable and clean. it had a great view over Pretty Bay and despite being close to the lifts was quiet. There is noise outside from the freeport when sat on the balcony, but this isn't noticeable with the door closed. Staff are polite and friendly The hotel has everything you need but perhaps not everything you want, no late night bar or pool. You can borrow towels for the beach for a €10 deposit The breakfast was a mixed bag. Hot items were cold, but the continental selection was excellent and the pancake machine fun. Also, some of the best machine coffee I've ever had"

"Odd layout - we were only there one night and still had trouble choosing which stairs or elevator to use. It’s not that big a place! But it’s charming. My only complaint is not the hotel but the charmless area it’s in. The hotel restaurant is the only possible one for dinner without driving. And it’s got a limited menu although the food was quite good."
