"I suppose my only thoughts revolve around the bathroom, which had a ceiling leak above the shower / tub... This resulted in a brownish liquid to slowly drip / run down the wall and into the tub. That said, I'm confident every room doesn't have this issue. Overall the vibe is that of a 2-3 star accommodation (and the affordable rates reflect this). The 8.6 rating on Expedia is a bit of a stretch. However, the place is right next door to the Otero County Sherriff's Office... so, problems typically associated with 2-3 star hotels are not present (e.g., sketchy characters and/or patrons). Lastly all the staff (and patrons) that I encountered were really really nice and accommodating. If your' looking for something more "upscale" consider the Holiday Inn Express... But you will pay more than twice as much."

"Great property and location. Comfortable bed and good size room. My only complaint would be the shower drained slow but didn’t ruin the experience."

"1 king room was clean and functional. Basic furnishings including fridge. Breakfast was free and instead of buffet you ordered off a menu which offered more choices than normal buffet. Food was adequate. Good access to White Sands National Psrk."
