"The hotel & staff exceeded our expectations at Sui Generis! We absolutely loved that it was boutique and intimate yet with a luxury feel. The breakfast every morning was amazing and the room was very spacious! The two cleanings a day was such a treat. The hotel will also provide you pool & beach towels to use which was very nice. It is also just a 5-6 minute walk to the lively city centre. I would highly recommend them for any visit to Tropea, we would definitely stay here again :)"

"The hotel is located a 10 minute walk from the Parghelia train station/approximately €1 train ride to Tropea. If you’re looking for a quiet place to relax, but be close to Tropea this is a good option. We often didn’t see a need to leave the resort as the food was great, amenities were decent, and staff is friendly (especially the restaurant staff)."

The location is perfect for exploring. Just a few steps from the main piazza, restaurants, cafes, and the historic castle, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. "Leaking ceilings onto hallway carpeting. Booked in March for a Sept stay and was given an unacceptable room overlooking a roof when I inquired, they change us to at least a street view. Very hot rooms, was not able to control air-conditioning to be cooler, it was controlled by the front desk.🙄😵‍💫 I will say Patricia at the front desk was the most helpful of anyone at this hotel"

"We had such a wonderful stay at Luisa & Riccardo’s villa. It’s incredibly spacious, with so many inviting areas to relax and spend time together as a group. The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped – we cooked dinner every night for a group of six and had absolutely everything we needed, from utensils and cutlery to not just one but two large fridges, which made storing food and drinks so easy.The villa also offers two convenient parking spaces, which is perfect if you’re traveling with more than one car. We especially appreciated the sense of space – we were three couples, and it never felt crowded. Everyone had their own room to unwind, yet we could also come together comfortably in the shared spaces.And the views are simply breathtaking – the sunsets were incredible and became a highlight of our stay. Sitting outside and watching the sky change colors was the perfect way to end each day.Thank you again both!! "
