"Breakfast was lush, a few bits had went unnoticed in the cleaning, Also I'm not happy I booked a double room and it was two single beds pushed together, As we were getting jiggy they came apart, not the worst place ever but not the best x"

"The property is on a corner spot on a lovely wide street, it was larger than expected inside. 3 double size bedrooms, 2 of which are very spacious. All the beds are really comfortable. The bathroom upstairs was really large with a fabulous roll top bath and a fabulous shower. There is also a very useful shower room downstairs, unfortunately the toilet seat needs tightening back into place. The towels provided were lovely large thick ones.You enter the house into a lovely modern kitchen. A wonderful surprise was a utility room complete with a dishwasher, washer and dryer. The only problem we had was that unfortunately the microwave was not working, we contacted owner, he stated replacement was on order. Admittedly we did not do any cooking during our stay as the weather was amazing and we had main meals out at various establishments. Silloth has a good variety of places to eat out for a small town. The lounge has ample seating with 2 x 3 seater sofas and a comfortable chair plus a dining table and chairs. Would love to revisit. The grandchildren also thought it was a brilliant place to stay they really appreciated the internet having a good connection. Lots of really nice features such as games etc available at the property."

"Sent from my iPad Caravan Gold 2 was really nice. Clean and modern with lovely furniture. Second bedroom a bit small but ok if for 2; children. Loved the balcony which was West facing with lovely sunsets. Parking places next to the caravan were adequate for 2 cars. Staffs seemed happy helpful and polite. Cons The children’s entertainment was good for children at night but not much during the day. The room a great size. The lift wasn’t working so parents with prams struggled. However some help from security guys appreciated. The soft play was closed and the swimming pool oversubscribed so that we could only get booked in once and it was late pm. No sign of any free play park areas which would be a great addition for families. Silloth a lovely seaside town which sadly has lost its funfair activity but still good to walk around with a free play park. Some more signposting to reception and areas would be helpful as our caravan was a distance away. In spite of the above overall it was a lovely 4 nights stay and I would go again…maybe term time with my hubby and small dog."
