Like a scene out of a Paul Verhoven film

If you ever stay at this property, you will know exactly what that means. Check in is via a kiosk with an agent overseas. Never experienced anything like that but it was ok. They have worked hard to make this into a clean, safe, and comfortable hotel experience. It was quite nice EXCEPT for the horrible smell emitting from one of those plug in scent things with liquid in a reservoir. It would send a skunk running. We unplugged it and bagged it but the smell stayed with us. Note to owner: Please try something else. It was quiet and comfortable. Room was completely overhauled except for the bathtub.

The check in process took about 15 minutes. I could barely understand what the guy was saying. I was basically talking to a screen. It was an easy process but took longer than I’m usually used to. The room was wonderful. I liked the fridge and kitchen. There was also a stove with pots and pans. The only downside was that the room was heavily scented with fragrance oil and laundry detergent. I’m allergic to synthetic fragrance. Also, the sheets were too scented and the pillows were too hard. Other than that everything was to my liking.

There was no coffee pot in the room. The floor had not been swept or mopped. There were dirty clothes in the dresser left by previous guest. I believe the web sight stated continental breakfast, there was none. And of all things check in and all dealings was with someone in another country via a kiosk!

Everything is done by Kiosk. No real person. Key didn’t work first time so had to go back to Kiosk to get a new one. No towels or shower curtain in room. When we went to Kiosk for third time to ask for some we were told housekeeping would not be in until next day and that we would have to wait until then for towels and curtain. WTH!!

First the staff questioned the credit card on file and wanted a second credit card on file which is ridiculous. Second, there was NOT BREAKFAST! Breakfast was to be included and there was nothing. And third, the stove in the studio did not work so i could not cook the food i brought with me. And last, there wasnt any soap in the shower! I am very unhappy with the service, and very disappointed in the stay we had.
