"Polite staff and clean room"

"It’s not like staying at a Premier Inn or Travelodge but does the job. Could do with some updating and don’t expect an early breakfast as it starts at 9am. You get what you pay for to be honest and the bed was comfy, loo, shower there so just what you need essentially. Wi-Fi just didn’t work in my room which I’m guessing was because I was at the top so a boaster would help. Replenishing of tea and coffee, biscuits etc in the room would be great. Ideally located just a 15 mins walk to the...

"Nice modern hotel. Allocated a disabled room for some reason with low clothes rail and seat in the shower. It was all ok but nothing amazing. Bed adequate but mattress a little on the thin and could feel the springs. Was disappointed no parking space but was my fault I didn’t study the booking moor so had to park a 5 min walk down the road. A bit frustrating going to collect the car in the morning with bags etc. Breakfast reasonably good. A bit of everything but not masses of choice - however...

"The room was clean, excellent showers. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We only stayed one night as we were catching a crossing the next morning,but it was during the heatwave so the air con (although not very powerful was very welcome). Overall good hotel. "

"Lovely hotel, restaurant, bar, in an excellent location for shopping etc in Rye. Very good value for money. There is no free car parking but the pay & display/RINGO is immediately next door and less than a tenner a day. We can highly recommend this hotel."
