"We had the best time at The Captain’s Lodge! The lodge is very clean and cozy! The location is absolutely perfect! We were able to walk to everything. Right across the street is a place to rent bikes and a bike trail to the lake/restaurants. Communication/check in and check out were very easy! We enjoyed every minute and we were sad to leave! We totally recommend staying here!!"

"Cabins were spotless and well-equipped. Setting is idyllic. Check-in was a hassle. A mother and daughter run the place - had spoken to the daughter a few days before arrival - very friendly and helpful. She indicated either her or her mom would be there to check us in. Online, in our reservation, it had indicated check-in between 2 pm and 4 pm. We arrived a little bit after 2:30 pm.
