"Comfortable and clean, however, other than a towel there are no other items in the room. No tea or coffee making facilities, not even a glass to get a drink of water. There is a TV but as it's not connected to an aerial, not much use really."

"We really enjoyed Cruachan Guest House. The bedroom with ensuite was well appointed. The breakfast each morning was really well done. Mobeen and staff were fantastic. The location was really good as well. There were a couple of buses that you could ride to the castle area or you could take 25 minutes to walk. We felt the Cruachan Guest House was pretty good value for money."

"Can’t rate property because when we got there we were told they overbooked and we didn’t have a room. They then sent us to another hotel a few blocks away that was old and dingy. It did have a better location and staff were very helpful and accommodating at that hotel. Can’t say I would recommend either places though. "

"After 7 days of being in a hostel, 22 Chester St was a welcomed oasis in Edinburgh that allowed me to recharge my energy in the middle of a 4 week trip to the UK. Lucas as kind and friendly - ready with recommendations and open to chatting when we would cross paths. The bed was comfortable and that bathroom gorgeous. The room was clean and welcoming.
